CHOOSING PUPPY

To choose the right puppy first you have to be sure that you really, strongly want the puppy. Once you are sure, you can find the breed, learn the standards, read everything about it, then if you have decided you are ready to live with it without any doubt, you must choose the right kennel to find the puppy. For this you must check the advertisements, go to dog shows and see the dogs on the stage, meet and see their parents and if possible talk to the other dog owners who bought their dogs from the same kennel. A lot of people look for their puppies through recommendation and this is the right thing to do.

When you come to the kennel first thing you must do is to check the environment the dogs are living in, and then if the parents and the puppy looks healthy. The puppies must be very active, of course if they are not sleeping, coat and eyes must be clean, eyes and nose must be without snot (mucus), tummy should not be bulging, relation between the parents as well as the puppies should not be very aggressive (unfortunately very aggressive parents may give birth to very aggressive puppies). Next step to choose a puppy is that you must decide why you are choosing your dog. If you are choosing for home and your own self you look for PET Class. If you are looking for future champions you must look for Breed-Show Class. They are called perspective puppies and they dont have any defects.

Next, you must decide whether you want to have puppies from your dog. For this you need either Breed or Show Class. This is the time you should know and choose the class of your future favorite. That means for shows and breeding you must choose your dog without the obvious pedigree lacks, completely complying with the pedigree standards and certainly not having any birth or breeding defects, with a good jaw, full teeth (6X6), both testicles in place (if it is a future winner and for breeding) and without hernia. This is all you must look at to choose a Show or Breed Class puppy.

Please do not forget that when you get your pet you must also receive the birth certificate, veterinarian passport. If you buy the dog for your fun and your family and you like it already, the most important think is it should be healthy. In any case you receive the birth certificate and the veterinarian passport. I wish you a happy purchase.
